Quit taking Percocet - My 14 Day Method for Success

I started this page so that I could help people who were having a hard time trying to quit taking the drug Percocet. What I'm about to share with you is an absolute way for you to easily stop taking this drug without facing any side effects.

One of the hardest thing people face when trying to quit this drug are the withdrawal symptoms. For me, I can describe these symptoms as feeling like my body is turning into coral. My body becomes very tense and I become very irritable. The symptoms can also make me feel like I am in more pain that I started with. This is the cycle that makes it hard to quit Percocet.

I started taking Percocet when I broke my collar bone. I can tell you that this drug was the only thing that made it bearable for me to cope with the pain of a broken collar bone for three months. After three months, I was finally healed and it was time to stop taking the Percocet. On my last visit to the doctor, I was asked if I still had any pain and if I needed another month's supply of Percocet. Well honestly I didn't really have any more pain but of course I said yes and accepted the prescription.

During the next month, I continued to take the Percocet although I didn't really need it. In the middle of the month I decided I should stop because I wanted to regain my appetite and gain back some of the strength I had lost. On my first attempt I stopped taking the Percocet for one day and I felt awful. It felt like my whole body was in pain and like I said before, it felt like my body was turning into coral. I could see how people can become addicted to this drug but I realized, after quitting smoking ten years earlier, that I am in control of my body and I need to recognize that these withdrawal symptoms really aren't that bad if I can control them.

In order to minimize the symptoms so that I could quit taking this drug, I needed to gradually reduce the amount of the drug in my body so that I could slowly adapt without any withdrawal symptoms.

I started at 2 pills 3 times per day
You can adapt this to suit your own needs depending on what your dosage was in the beginning.

This is how I did it:
